Snap Inc.

GIF Animation & Augmented Reality (AR) Lens

Snap Inc. is a camera company and parent of Snapchat, one of the most used social media apps today. The Snap Philanthropy team connects communities through partnership, giving, and volunteering to create a social impact for everyone. Every year, Snap Philanthropy hosts World Kindness Day as a global day of service where the Snap Family come together and volunteers their time to give back to the communities through community beautification, care kits, environmental stewardship, food security, and more.

I was tasked to work on a Snapchat filter using my team’s digital assets to create a cohesive lens for the Snap Family to use on the day of their event.

Save the Date Invitation

Save the Date invitation is created in GIF format. The GIF was used to announce the date for World Kindness Day through email and message applications.

Demonstration on Snapchat

Many Snap team members from across the world used the filter to share with their friends, family, and coworkers to show their volunteering service on World Kindness Day.
